“Enjoy tapas with friends” organised by “Amigos del Buen Yantar”
The Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre Business Association is cooperating in this initiative
“Amigos del Buen Yantar” are organising the First Gastronomy Days of “Tapas with friends”, which will be dedicated to mussels and will be held during weekends in June (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) in a number of bars and restaurants in Alcala de Xivert and Alcossebre, in collaboration with the Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre Business Association. This is the group’s first gastronomic collaboration, aiming to encourage residents and visitors to spend a good time in the municipality tasting tapas with their drinks in the different participating establishments.
So that customers can judge the tapas offered at each establishment, leaflets have been prepared listing all the bars and restaurants which are taking part in this initiative. When you obtain four stamps from different establishments, you will be able to change them in the Alcossebre Tourist Office for a gift, as long as stocks last.
This recently formed group wants to encourage participation during the weekends, as well as making themselves available for anyone or any group who would like to organise activities similar to this one.
The group “Amigos del Buen Yantar” was formed last February, with the objective of organising or collaborating with ideas relative to food, thus promoting the gastronomy of Alcala de Xivert and Alcossebre. The founders are Rafael Trujillo, Chimo Vinuesa, Miguel Martorell and Ricardo Aguilar.
