Alcossebre Charity Walk for the Asociacion Española Contra el Cáncer
About a hundred valiant people took part in the Charity Walk for the AECC held on Saturday 7th April. The weather too supported this good cause with a radiant sun which meant that the participants, among whom were the Alcala-Alcossebre mayor, Francisco Juan Mars, enjoyed a very pleasant walk along the eight kilometres which lie between the Tourist Office and the Lighthouse in Ribamar.
To make the journey more enjoyable, the “Lo Xular” Group of Dolçainers were there with their music, whilst colour was provided by those daring walkers who donned fancy dress for the event.
This charity event was organised by the Friends of Alcossebre, with the cooperation of the Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre Council.
