Alcala-Alcossebre Local Police arrest a man for stealing a car
The officers’ action resulted in the owner recovering his vehicle
A 23-yearold man from Sagunto, with the initials F.I.C., was arrested for having stolen a car and other traffic offences.
The events happened on 1st July when the officers, who were carrying out routine patrol duties, noticed a vehicle committing a traffic offence and stopped it. When the driver was asked for the documentation, and refused to hand it over because “he did not have it in the car”, the police data base showed that the registration plate belonged to an Opel Astra, and did not match the vehicle (a Renault Master).
Following the accusation of the crimes and the arrest, the Alcala-Alcossebre Local Police took the appropriate action for the vehicle to be returned to the owner.
