The Easter School comes to the end of another successful year
After an intense week full of activities, this year’s Easter School has ended on a positive note.
And the numbers who registered for it this year encourage the Council’s Culture councillor to continue with this educational/play course. More than a hundred children in Alcala and Alcossebre took part in the Easter School.
Both in Alcala and Alcossebre, as this particular “school” took place in parallel in both schools, the “Easter School” days were really entertaining and participative. Under the eagle eyes of the monitors, the children took part in all sorts of activities.
Francisco Juan, the mayor of Alcala-Alcossebre, is quite clear about the value of this service which the Council makes available to families when the Easter holidays come around. “With the Easter School, parents can go to work with complete confidence that the town has a service offering a wide range of activities to keep their children occupied during the holidays. I believe that we are covering one of the basic needs of families in the municipality”, he explained.
In the opinion of Maria Agut, the Culture councillor, “the numbers of children who registered and took part each day in the activities are the best endorsement that both the Easter School and the Summer School are necessary and important for families”.
