Alcala and Alcossebre will have two osmosis plants for the supply of treated water
They will be situated in the town’s sports areas and FACSA will invest 50,000 euros in the project

In a few weeks, Alcala and Alcossebre will be able to enjoy two new osmosis plants which will enable them to have treated water, saving them having to buy bottled water. These plants will serve the people in both nuclei, are situated in sports areas, in fact next to the Alcossebre municipal gymnasium and in the Alcala Municipal Pavilion. They will have a capacity to supply 2,880 litres of treated water per day, a product very similar to the bottled water which you can find in the supermarket, which highlights its great quality and absence of contaminants. Residents will be able to access the purified water from taps which have been connected on the outside of the two new buildings.
FACSA has carried out the work, with a budget of 50,000 euros, within the investments promised in the contract for the service to supply fresh water.
The Mayor, Francisco Juan, explained that “shortly we shall be able to open these sources which will be convenient for people who practise sport and, in general, for all the residents who want to use this service”.
