Municipal Social Services are holding an ‘open doors’ day to show off their new facilities in Alcossebre
Residents can visit the new offices which are already operating, on Thursday, 15th March, between 11:00 and 13:00 hours
The Alcala-Alcossebre Social Welfare Department has organised an open-doors day on Thursday, 15th March, from 11am to 1pm, so that residents can see the new offices in Alcossebre. They are situated at No.7 in calle Alcala de Xivert and are already in operation, which means that the Social Welfare Services (SEAFI, psychologist, social worker, cultural mediator, social educator) are now all based together in the new offices in Alcossebre. Councillor Desa Pitarch explained that “Until we had these offices, the services were provided in various council places and with different opening hours. Now residents can get attention in one place and the staff can work with more facilities”.
The renovation work to the former exhibition room was carried out through the Local Employment Plan, providing new offices and new individual consultation rooms.
