More Alcossebre Yankee American vehicles registered to take part than last year

This second year of “Alcossebre Yankee” already has more registrations than the first.  At present, confirmation has been received for 9 American trucks, more than 50 cars and a quantity of motorcycles.  Motor Fan Clubs from all over Spain will arrive in Alcossebre on Friday 13^th to take part in the various activities planned up to Sunday 15^th and they will stay in local tourist accommodation.  The initiative confirms Alcala-Alcossebre as an ideal place for events focussed on the motor, with events such as the HD Custom Maestrat which will be celebrating its 15^th year in September and which attracts a large number of motorcycle fans.

For the public in general, they can see vehicles exhibited in the car park in the Paseo Maritimo in Las Fuentes, during Saturday morning and on Sunday morning the whole parade, accompanied by officers from the Guardia Civil Traffic division, will travel to Alcala, where they will gather in the Avenida Héroes de Marruecos.  Those taking part will have music events, a visit to the Bodega Mas de Rander and sampling of products from Alcala-Alcossebre.

Speaking for the Tourist Department, Alejandra Roca said that “thanks to this event, fans of this type of vehicles will be visiting the towns, through their participating clubs, and getting to know the towns”.  She also invited “residents of the towns’ and other areas, to enjoy a visit on Saturday or Sunday to see these vehicles, which are unique pieces and a great spectacle”.

The event is organised by Justí Galas with the cooperation of Custom Maestrat and the Alcala-Alcossebre Council.
