The Red Cross has two new ambulances
The ambulances were on show on 20th April in the Alcossebre Paseo Marítimo, with the Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre mayor, Francisco Juan Mars, and the provincial vicepresident for the Red Cross Aid and Emergencies, Vicente Nebot, and the local president, Esther Fuster Monreal.

The two UCIs on show are being added to the Red Cross strength in Castellón province and the 890 volunteers who make possible, after the reduction in previous years, for the number of prevention services to reach a figure of 962 in 2017, a tendency they wish to maintain this year.
The Red Cross provides important prevention and emergency response services, attending to these needs with trained staff and in material ways. The institution has 11 Basic Life Support ambulances in the province, and the two new vehicles will be added to these, with 5 sick bays, an emergency lorry, one light and another heavy trailer and 11 all terrain vehicles.
The Red Cross provides life-saving and aid services in towns such as Alcala-Alcossebre, which rely on their quality health services, giving the Red Cross some income which they can use to give health aid to the rest of society.
Francisco Juan Mars thanked the institution for their work, saying “it is always important to have the Red Cross at our side, in their beach services and in moving and looking after sick people”, saying that the new vehicles being put into service “will improve the service they already provide”, urging them to continue helping people through their work.
