PSPV-PSOE point out that, thanks to the Generalitat presided over by Ximo Puig, the problem of the Alcala de Xivert surgery has been resolved
The PP has been promising a building for more than 10 years which has never happened. The mayor, Francisco Juan Mars, did cede land to the Consellería which could not be built upon because it was situated in a flood area.

The PSPV-PSOE Provincial Executive, judging from information given to the autonomous deputy, Ignacio Subías, has been able to establish that the Health Department’s decision to proceed with the refurbishment of the Alcala de Xivert surgery, “was the best measure which could be taken to resolve the chaos that the PP and local mayor, Francisco Juan Mars, had made of this matter”.
It should be taken into account that this surgery had been budgeted for over 10 years ago by the PP government in the Generalitat.
And as Subías explained, “there were many years of unfulfilled promises, and of window-dressing policies, where what was promised had no bearing on what was done.”
The PSOE remembered that “the mayor of Alcala managed to cede some land from an area which could not be built on as it was a flood zone, thus demonstrating that the PP, is not only inefficient at managing, but is also rash.”
“In order to provide a solution to something similar to chaos, what the Consellería has done is to drive forward reforms to the current surgery to provide a final solution to a problem which was deeply entrenched in the Partido Popular and which it was never capable of solving”.
An important refurbishment will be carried out in two annual payments to provide a real, effective solution to the problem.
“Whilst the PP spent what they did not have on what they should not have done, the Generalitat presided over by Ximo Puig is prioritising, recuperating rights, recuperating the public health system and carrying forward good governing policies with a health investment plan which will exceed 350 million euros”.
