Local businesses and Alcala-Alcossebre municipal resources received SICTED Quality Tourism awards

On 6th March, a ceremony was held for the presentation of SICTED – Sistema Integral de Calidad Turística en Destinos – awards to four local companies, the Local Police, the Tourist Information office and beaches which took part in this programme, which ensures a series of tourism quality standards. During the last year, the Tourism Department has continuously carryied out training to establish the SICTED system which meant improving quality, through an established integral management system based on a model of business, customer services, etc. Looking at next year, thirteen local businesses have already confirmed that they will participate in the programme to obtain the award.
The municipality had already received the award as a tourist destination at an event held during the recent FITUR, from the hands of the State Tourism Secretary and has therefore become one of the 9 municipalities in Castellón province to hold this recognition.
Tourism councillor, Alejandra Roca, the INVATUR director of Tourism Intelligence, Mario Villar, and Alcala-Alcossebre Mayor, Francisco Juan, presented the awards.
