2nd Craft Beers Festival – AlcaladeXiBEERt

On Thursday 29th and Friday 30th August 2019, the Second Craft Beers Festival – Alcala de XiBEERt will take place. New for this year, the Festival will be held in the “Placetes de Sant Joan”, next to the Church, from 18:00 hours until 22:30 hours each day.
This year the Festival will include stands for the breweries “La Típica” from Alcossebre, “Badum” from Peñíscola, “Tercer Tiempo” from La Pobla de Vallbona and “Cerveza Gorgos” from la Marina Alta.
Also, the Custom Maestrat Association will have a stand with snacks and tapas to accompany the craft beers.
The “Boutique de la Cerveza” is coordinating this festival, and also will carry out two tastings of 4 beers each day for 150 people. On Thursday 29th at 20:00 hours there will be a tasting of 4 national beers. On Friday 30th at 20:00 hours, the tasting will be for 4 international beers. Tickets may be obtained from the Alcala de Xivert and Alcossebre Municipal Offices until they run out and will cost 6€ for each tasting. Each tasting will include an engraved commemorative crystal glass as a gift.
The Festival will also have a live disc jockey and alongside the area there will be children’s activities for little children, traditional games and a pirate workshop.
