The spokesperson for Compromis per Alcala, Maria Sorlí, had a meeting with the general director of Educational Infrastructures, Víctor Garcia, to tackle the paralysation of the extension project and the dining room sound proofing in the Alcossebre CEIP La Mola. Sorlí complained that “we are at the doors of a new year, the length of time for the project continues to be extended and families are asking for solutions and clear information”. The Compromis leader described the meeting as “very clarifying”. According to what she was able to learn, the Council is adapting the project to the requirements of the Consellería experts after a second phase of revision. Therefore it concerns dealing with an “anomaly”, and whereas in the majority of cases “the first proposal from the municipal experts includes the basic requirements of the educational infrastructures, in the case of La Mola, matters are already going through a third attempt”.
