Alcala-Alcossebre Social Services are taking part in the LIDEBASS investigation into its operation and needs
The UJI Interuniversity Institute for the Local Development will collect the data and analyse the municipal Social Services through LIDEBASS – Linea de Base en el Área de Servicios Sociales

The Alcala-Alcossebre Council Social Services team is taking part in the LIDEBASS investigation carried out by the UJI Interuniversity Institute for Local Development, to analyse the operation of this municipal area and define its needs, strengths and results. For this, the team members are taking part in different sessions in the UJI, facilitating data and providing all the information necessary for this project – the knowledge and improvement of the Social Services at council level. This study analyses the structure and operation, leaders and technical staff as well as the bodies and businesses which lend their services. The Valencian Generalitat Inclusive Equality and Policies Department is taking part in this Investigation project, via the Social Services Specialised Laboratory.
Social Welfare councillor, Marien Traver, said that “with this investigation we shall learn what we must focus on to improve our Social Services and, in this way, townspeople will benefit”.
