The Council has started work renovating the current garden areas in two of Alcossebre’s central squares. The gardens in the Vistalegre and Constitución squares will be given a new image for residents and visitors to the coastal nucleus.
Mayor Francisco Juan, together with Rafa Trujillo, the Works and Services councillor, inspected the work being carried out and said that “this action demonstrates how important the care of our green areas and their surroundings is for the council. We will continue renewing different places in the town so that it makes a good impression”.
The Works and Services councillor, Rafa Trujillo, explained that the work being carried out will include: “Modifying the existing hedges and new planting such as palm trees. This project will also include improvement to the current watering system”.
This work is being carried out by a local company. “It is important to carry out planned projects supporting our local companies”, Trujillo added.
