Ronchera urges the PP mayor to hold committees, the spokespersons’ meetings and council meetings by videoconference

The Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre PSPV-PSOE has proposed that the information committees, spokespersons groups, as well as the March council meeting which was suspended because of the declaration of the State of Emergency in the face of the Covid-19 health emergency, could be carried out by videoconferencing.

The municipal socialist spokesperson Joan Ronchera said that the Diputación del Cambio has set up a working tool for holding the meetings of their respective collegial bodies telematically “which would be within the reach also of councils in the province”.  “Therefore, we are urging the Partido Popular mayor, Francisco Juan, to make use of it”, said the Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre PSPV-PSOE spokesperson.

Also Ronchera notes that the council bodies “cannot be stopped, therefore we believe that the Diputación’s initiative is of immense use”.  “The citizens need more transparency and more information than ever, therefore, the service the Diputación is offering will enable residents to have up-to-date information about all the measures being set up”, Ronchera ended.
