Alcala-Alcossebre will coordinate the de-escalation with local businessmen

Alcala-Alcossebre Council will set up an operation to coordinate the state of emergency, together with the local businessmen.  For this, the Tourism Department will coordinate the creation of a body formed by working groups in which they will analyse how isolation should be tackled by different types of businesses: accommodation, restaurants, companies with the SICTED qualification, shops, complementary offers, professional services, etc.  “According to what we have been able to see in the Government’s Plan for De-escalation, we are going to have to work in a different way depending on the type of establishment and the sector and therefore we believe that the most efficient way is to create different working groups”, Tourism councillor, Selene Bázquez, explained.  The initiative will be developed in coordination with the Alcala-Alcossebre Business Association and any business interested in taking part will be able to sign up using the registration form prepared on the municipal web site using the link: http://www.alcaladexivert.es/sites/L01120043/files/2020-04/FORMULARIO%20EMPRESAS.pdf

“The tourism and shops sectors are essential for our municipality and all the actions which will be developed will be through direct coordination with them” Mayor Francisco Juan explained.  Also, as actions to revitalise tourism, the council will set up a promotion campaign and different actions to extend the season and promote the arrival of tourists.
