Alcala-Alcossebre Council improves accessibility and illumination in the camino Alió
Pavements will be improved, the pedestrian area will be defined and the work will include re-surfacing the camino Alió and plaza Justo Zaragozà

Alcala-Alcossebre Council is carrying out redesigning work in the camino Alió, to improve both accessibility and safety in a very busy street which is one of the accesses to the municipal cemetery and a daily route for some of the population. The work includes widening narrow pavements, so that architectural barriers are removed. In the camino Alió, the pedestrian area will be marked out with paint and a lane separator, so that pedestrians’ safety is improved. All the lighting in the camino Alió will be renewed adapting it to the energy efficiency parameters.
The plaza Justo Zaragoza will also be re-surfaced like the camino Alió and the well in the square will be repaired, installing a planted border all around the perimeter to enhance it.
The total budget for the work is 200,203 euros.
