A person was arrested in Alcossebre for five crimes of robbery with force and criminal damage in homes

The Guardia Civil detained a male, suspecting that he was the perpetrator of five crimes of robbery with force from a house and criminal damage.

The investigation began at the end of May this year based on the receipt of several complaints of robberies carried out in Alcossebre, in fact in the Capicorp area, where several houses were being used by the owners as second homes, detached villas in some cases and farmhouses in others,

After carrying out numerous enquiries and watching the area, the Guardia Civil found that all the indications pointed to a man who lived in a radius very close to the violated buildings.

Having obtained all the evidence and found some of the stolen objects in an annex of the suspect’s home, a male of 59 years of age was arrested, as the suspected perpetrator of five robbery with force crimes and one of criminal damage to the interior of the home.  The detainee has a record for crimes against people’s property.

Some of the stolen objects were recovered and returned to their legitimate owners.  The arrest was carried out by officers stationed in the Alcala de Xivert Guardia Civil.
