Alcala de Xivert is to have a charging point for electric vehicles

Alcala de Xivert will have a charging point for electric vehicles which will make the supply of energy possible for this type of vehicles, both for private and municipal vehicles.  The Council took part in the call for the concession of grants to public bodies for the provision of this type of installation and today it has advised that it has been ceded a charging point valued at 9,000 euros and a grant of 5,000 euros for its installation.  The place set out by the Council for installing this new charging point is the Justo Zaragoza square.  The council has also announced another tender, in this case for the IVACE (Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness), to be able to install another point which, in this case, would be situated in Alcossebre.

Town Planning councillor, Miguel Martorell, stated that “within the measures to promote sustainable movement, it is out intention to support this type of installations, to be able to provide a service for all residents and visitors who choose this type of vehicle”.
