The Accounts Syndicate has analysed the Council’s General Account for 2018 without finding any effect

[Img #79421]It was reported in the council meeting that Alcala-Alcossebre Council has succeeded in cutting the average period for payment to its suppliers to 19 days.  It was one of the measures activated by the governing group during the context of the pandemic, with the aim of supporting businesses which supply the Council.  “For many years we maintained a very correct average payment time and, during recent months, we have been able to reduce it to 19 days which brings peace of mind for the businesses working for the Council”, Mayor Francisco Juan emphasised, and insisted that “during the pandemic, the council has not neglected its administrative management, but on the contrary, it has intensified its efforts”.

Continuing with municipal management, the meeting also took account of the report from the Syndicate of Accounts for fiscal matters of the general account for the local bodies of financial year 2018 according to which, after analysing various requirements, no incident was detected in the Alcala-Alcossebre Council municipal management.
