Local Police and the Guardia Civil recover documentation and cash from a robbery in a vehicle workshop in Alcala de Xivert
Alcala-Alcossebre Local Police and the Guardia Civil were able to arrest the presumed perpetrator of a robbery from a vehicle workshop in Alcala, as well as recovering the stolen documents and cash. The events happened last Friday, 20th November when the owner of the vehicle workshop phoned the Local Police headquarters to say that he had just been robbed of his wallet and documentation after an individual entered his workshop to ask for irrelevant advice. Immediately, a Local Police team appeared in the place and was joined by a couple of the Alcala based Guardia Civil officers.
After searching the area, they found the stolen wallet and an individual who totally fitted the description provided by the robbery victim, who had clear intentions of abandoning the town on the first train which came along. Swiftly, the officers from both forces proceeded to recuperate both the documentation and the cash and to arrest the alleged perpetrator of the acts, D.M.S.S. aged 21years and of Guinean nationality, taking him to the offices of the Alcala de Xivert Guardia Civil to instruct the appropriate judicial procedures.
