Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre Council held an Ordinary meeting
The Agenda for the Alcala-Alcossebre Council meeting held on 25th November, also included the delivery of the quarterly accounts and of the overdue accounts and the 3rd quarter 2020 period of payment which was set up in 26 days – which made them the second for quickest payment in Castellón province -, approval of holidays for 2021, which will be 29th April and 30th August, as well as the team of staff, which accompanies the budgets, a matter on which PSOE and Compromis abstained, with Ciudadanos and PP voting in favour.
As there was only one company which tendered for the management and development of sports installations, it was declared ineffective. The socialist spokesperson, Joan Ronchera, requested that the competence should pass through the meeting and that the specification should be made more attractive so that more companies compete. For her part, María Sorlí considered that the matter “is not easy” and was not good. She asked for the situation “to find a solution for these inconveniences”. The Sports leader, Jordi Batiste, explained that “we want to resolve this quickly, so that the service does not stop”. The mayor explained that if the process for the meeting is passed “it is hoped that there will be 5 or 6 meetings for each stage. We are doing it like this because it is more dynamic”. All the groups voted in favour, except the PSOE, which abstained.
Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre Council adhered to the programme for the IVAJ Leisure Education, in order to choose the grants from this body, proposal unanimously supported.
The fiscal modification was approved for the provision of the sports activities service and the use and carrying out of publicity; another of the bases for financial assistance in the infants school; the regulatory decree for the provision of non-contributory public patrimony for the supply of the service for obtaining the drinking water service and the correction of errors in the municipal regulatory decree in the declaration responsible for carrying out minor works and licenses.
