Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre PSOE regrets that there is no St. Valentine’s campaign

Alcala de Xivert PSPV-PSOE regrets the lack of action by the governing group to incentivise business in local establishments.  An example of this is that there has been no promotional campaign to encourage consumption in the local shops, within the current measures against the pandemic, in order to celebrate St. Valentine’s day at the weekend.  As the socialist Tina Arnau explains, “this decision to do nothing is more than questionable, given that, in other municipalities, they have organised several initiatives such as discount vouchers, draws and take-away menus, always respecting the restrictive covid measures”.

Arnau considers that “not doing anything is a lost opportunity to encourage residents to purchase in the local businesses, in a difficult time, above all after some Christmas campaigns and reductions which, because of the pandemic, have been much more complicated than in other years”.
