On Friday the Health Department technicians will travel to the locality, to study the buildings proposed by the Council and to establish the space in which the mass vaccination of the population will be carried out. “we have two municipal buildings which we think can comply with the all the safety parameters: Espai d'Oci and Pabellón Polideportivo in Alcalà which we will visit with the health authorities so that it can be decided which of the two is the most suitable”, Health councillor Melina Fradejas explained.
On the other hand, in response to the institutional declaration approved by Alcala-Alcossebre Council in which information was requested about what the vaccination timetable would be in the municipality, a letter was received from the Direcció General de Salut Pública i Addicions (Public Health and Additions General Management), written to the council, in which was specified that “at the stage we are in, with the limited number of doses, vaccination is proceeding in a prioritised way to those groups set out by the Strategy. When we have a greater number of doses available, we will start with the following groups” and they add that people will be informed when these groups are called to be vaccinated as the vaccination campaign advances.
