Alcala-Alcossebre Council increases aid for the refurbishment of façades

Alcala-Alcossebre Council has approved an increase to 50,000 euros for the amount of financial assistance for the refurbishment of façades and roofs.  Already in the first three months of this year, they have awarded 20 grants amounting to 40,000 euros, the amount initially contemplated in the 2021 budget.  During 2021, 90,000 euros will be allocated for this assistance which has been taken up by a large number of the inhabitants and defrayed between 70% and 80% of the total amount of the works to be carried out, with a maximum amount of 3,000 to 4,000 euros.  Treasury councillor, María Agut, pointed out that “we are very satisfied that each time more people who owned homes, in both nuclei of Alcala and Alcossebre, chose to take advantage of this assistance with refurbishment”.

The council started this assistance in 2017 and each year the sum of assistance awarded was greater, accumulating to date, assistance awarded for a value of 125,769 euros.
