36 establishments in Alcala and Alcossebre join the “Bo per a tu, Bo per al poble” campaign
The vouchers will be distributed between 19th and 23rd April, in the plaza de Les Escoles in Alcala and the plaza de La Mola in Alcala, in alphabetical order.
A total of 36 establishments in Alcala and Alcossebre have joined the municipal assistance campaign “Bo per a tu, Bo per al poble” (“Good for you, Good for the town”), which will enable men and women residents to shop in them using the 14,000 5-euro vouchers which will be distributed among all those who are registered with the council. The participating establishments represent a wide variety of products on offer: food shops, pharmacies, electrical appliances, hairdressers, aesthetic treatments, physiotherapy, florists, furniture, consultants and gift shops. The list of establishments can be found on the municipal web site and also will be distributed to residents at the time the vouchers are distributed.
From 26th April to 31st May, residents will be able to pay with the vouchers for any purchase over 10 euros and, when presenting it, the resident would have to pay the extra 5 euros. For each purchase, the vouchers can be used as preferred – with all the family’s vouchers together, for example – always bearing in mind that for each 5-euro voucher being used, the buyer will have to contribute another 5 euros.
Treasury councillor, María Agut, thanked all the participating establishments, pointing out that “now is the time to be more united than ever with campaigns like this which is trying to activate the local economy, giving assistance to families and the local businesses”. The financial repercussion will be 140,000 euros for the establishments.
Distribution starts on 19th April, in open air, prepared spaces with all the safety measures in place, in the plaza La Mola in Alcossebre and Plaza Les Escoles in Alcala, from 9am to 2pm. Residents with surnames beginning with A to D will be called on Monday, 19th April, those from E to G on Tuesday 20th, from H to L on Wednesday 21st, M to R on Thursday 22nd and on Friday 23rd, from R to Z. Proof of identity, DNI, passport of Family Book will be needed and it will be possible to collect the voucher for another person, bringing their identification document and as long as they are on the census for the same town nucleus, to make the distribution more efficient.
