The IVACE (Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness) announces new documents for the marketing of quality industrial land in Alcala de Xivert
- They are considering attractive modes for the acquisition of available plots for setting up new projects.
- The period for presenting requests ends on the 15th March 2022
Rafa Ciment, the councillor for Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Business and Employment, pointed out that the Ivace has approved and published new documents for marketing the quality industrial land in the Business Parks in Nuevo Tollo in Utiel, L'Espartal III in Xixona and El Campaner in Alcalà de Xivert.
Climent emphasised that these documents, which were published on Thursday, 22nd April in the Valencian Generalitat Official Diary, (DOGV), “set out different modes for the acquisition of industrial land: sales contract, sales contract payable in instalments and right of surface for the plots in the business parks in Utiel, Xixona and Alcala de Xivert”.
In the same way, the head of Economy explained that the Nuevo Tollo Business Park in Utiel offers leases to SMEs and self-employed workers for an industrial warehouse: long leases, lease with an option to buy, purchase or purchase with instalment payments.
“These attractive marketing conditions – he continued – are essential for the recuperation process for the economy marked by the crisis due to the COVID-19 and with them we are helping businesses to acquire quality industrial land in the business parks in the IVACE in order to set up their projects and generate quality employment and sustainability”.
Climent also declared that these new documents are one more example of the unprecedented defined support from the Sustainable Economy Department and Ivace for the business areas, “placing them at the centre of our industrial policy and of the reindustrialisation process of the Valencian Community”.
He also listed other actions on these lines which are being developed by Ivace such as assistance for the improvement and modernisation of the industrial estates, the Industrial Land Map, the classification of the industrial areas and the assessment, in collaboration with Fepeval (Federation of Business Industrial Estates in the Valencian Community), for the constitution of the Modernisation Management of Enterprises (EGM).
Tender Criteria
As set out in the DOGV, requests presented for acquiring the industrial land available will be the object of assessment in open competition.
The criteria for assessing them will take into account principally the creation of new jobs and the sustainability of those already existing and the integration of working staff with functional diversity, as well as the creation of economy support businesses.
Also taken into account are that the business must move away from the municipal centre, the investment of the industrial project and the provision of complementary services which would facilitate synergy in the activities of the industries already existing in the business park.
Terms and conditions for the requests
The schedule for the presentation of requests has five stages. The first starts from the 23rd to 30th April 2021; the second from 3rd May 2021 until 16th July 2021, the third covers from 19th July until 15th October 2021.
The fourth stage for presenting requests starts from the 18th October 2021 until 10th January 2022 and the fifth stage from 12th January 2022 until 15th March 2022.
