The Diputación will invest 89,009 euros in Alcalà de Xivert-Alcossebre

Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre PSPV-PSOE celebrates the Castellón Diputación’s investment of 89,009 euros in the locality. The spokesman for the municipal socialist group, Joan Ronchera, explains that “the grant will be used to assist businesses affected by the pandemic”. The assistance is included in the Pla #ReactivemEmpreses and has five million euros to distribute among all the municipalities in the province. To access the assistance, businesses and the self-employed will have to justify the current expenses of the activity.
In spite of the bases for the grant, there is a list of the sectors for which this assistance can be applied, “each municipality, having met the criteria of municipal autonomy recognised by the Diputación, can use them for those which, from the analysis of their local reality, they consider opportune”, Ronchera comments. Among others, the provincial entity includes travel agencies, active tourism businesses, rural pharmacies, discretional transport companies, florist shops, orchestras, ceramicists or producers of cheeses and wines as possible beneficiaries.
Ronchera reminds that, besides the 89,009 euros from the Pla #ReactivemEmpreses, “the Castellón Diputación, which is presided over by another socialist José Martí, has allocated more than a million euros for this 2021 financial year”. Among others, Joan Ronchera emphasised the concession of various assistance programmes such as “the Plan Director del Castell and the work to consolidate the Albacar walls, the amount from the Pla 135; the Works Reactivation Plan for sustainable investments and the grant for the contracting of a team for Social Services”. “The involvement of the provincial body with our municipality is patent and has positive repercussions on the quality of life of the men and women living in Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre, as has been shown in recent times with much direct assistance, like for example that for the Pla Resistir”, the spokesperson assured.
