The Friends of Alcossebre Summer Fête 2012

After the great success of the first Summer Fête organised by the Friends in 2010, Vivienne Phillips and her team are organising the second Summer Fête 2012.  It will be held again in the spacious gardens of the Restaurant 21 in Las Fuentes, and will feature stalls, refreshments and entertainment for all.  There will be representatives of many of the local organisations and associations who have received assistance from the Friends in the past.

The Friends of Alcossebre raise funds through events and, principally, in the Charity Shop in Calle Alcala, next to Isabel’s Fruit and Vegetable shop, for donation to local charities and associations in Alcossebre and Alcala de Xivert.  The Charity Shop is open from Monday to Saturday, 10:00h to 13:00h.  Since it opened in 2006 nearly 82,000 Euros have been raised and donated to over 20 local organisations.  In the Charity Shop there is a wide range of clothing for all the family, books – all at 1€ each – and bric-a-brac.  Donations of any of these are always welcome in the Shop.
