Roads in Capicorb are being re-surfaced

Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre Council is carrying out work to asphalt the Les Escoles area in Capicorb.  According to council sources, this has been requested by the residents in the area for a long time.  It provides access from the mouth of the Rio San Miguel to the iconic School building.
The mayor, Francisco Juan Mars, pointed out that “the Council is continuing with the task of improving Capicorb.  This resurfacing is in addition to the other work we have carried out here, such as the refurbishment of the former school building, the restoration of the San Antonio chapel and its surroundings.”
The asphalting is included in the Castellón Diputación Provincial Plans, which were granted to the town because of the condition of its unique nucleus.  When this work is completed, only one of the authorised Provincial Plans will remain to be carried out: the resurfacing project for the Plaza Jai Alai near the Las Fuentes Paseo Maritimo, one of the most important car-parks in Las Fuentes.  This work is planned to be carried out during September, after the summer season, so that residents and tourists to the area are not too inconvenienced.
