The Council is carrying out improvements to the Las Fuentes road

The Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre Council has repaired the pedestrian path along the Las Fuentes road running between Alcossebre and the Las Fuentes urbanisation using its own council resources.
Mayor Francisco Juan Mars stated “This work has been carried out thanks to the local employment plan which continues creating jobs for the town’s residents. It also meets the demand from residents in this area who walk along the path every day, and we are also increasing safety for the pedestrians”.
his is the first work in the area, which will be added to the main road improvement work in this urbanisation, included in the Diputación’s Provincial Plan.
In order to undertake this project, they are going to invest 95,000 euros, as it deals with the most important road in the district. The work will consist of resurfacing and repainting, to improve visibility and prevent accidents.
